Top 10 men in a slasher films!

Top 10 men in a slasher films!
- Typicaly it's the ladies who have the spotlight in slasher films, while the bros take a backseat either playing the killer, victim, or likable side character. Here are some of my personal favorite dudes featured in a slasher movie. Help Chip continue his pool side slasher movie marathon all night!

Ps. I so wanted to put Damon Marin aka Chip from his roles in either Ghoulies II or Amityville but I had to stick with slashers. Next time!

10) Marvin - He Knows You're Alone
- The nerdy, charming, funny ex-boyfriend you can't help but like. This dude always played this sort of role (Squirm anyone) and is totally likable. Plus, he always brings fish over. What an odd, yet kind gesture! Well that is until the head lands up in the fish tank!

9) Randy - Intruder
- Oh Sam Raimi. What I love about him is that he actually acted in quite a number of films in the 80's and 90's as well as directing. One of my favorite roles has to be when he played Randy, the cute butcher from the 1989 supermarket slasher Intruder. Sam plays along side his brother Ted, but really steals whatever scene he appeared in as well as having one of the most brutal deaths in the entire movie! Proud to have Sam from this tattooed on me from this!!!

8) Todd - The Burning
- Todd is a handsome, likable, relatable camp councilor. Yeah he's a total hunk, but what I really like is the fact that he always tries to stick up for the camp misfits since he himself caused quite a lot of trouble back when he was a camper. Todd is a fighter, and really gives the killer a run for this money at the end of the film!

7) TJ - My Bloody Valentine
- Oh TJ, what a handsome Canadian. "Swoon" Between his good looks, and accent, TJ is a handsome dude who sadly had to return home after his life on the West Coast failed. I really love how TJ tries everything within his power to win the love of his life back, while trying not to destroy a friendship. Plus, any guy who would go into a dark mine with a crazed killer walking around to save me totally wins bonus points in my book!

6) Andy - Friday the 13th part III
- Ah, the dreamy jock boyfriend. Sure he's knocked up his girlfriend. Sure he likes how to party, sure hammock sex confuses him, sure his three talents are juggling, playing with a yo-yo, and walking on his hands...nothing will ever change by mind that Andy suffered one of the worst deaths in the entire series as well as being one of the most attractive.

5) Todd - Blood Rage
- Poor Todd. First he's traumatized after his crazed identical twin brother murders a guy right in front of him then frames him, making him go get locked up in a mental hospital for a crime he never committed! When he starts to remember that night and claim to his doctors it was Terry, his brother who's the psycho, he has enough sense to break out and try and confront him over the Thanksgiving holiday. Sadly things get out of hand and his escape is just another excuse for his brother to go on another massacre again. Still, Todd has to deal with the fact a giant part of his life was stolen from him, and his mother clearly is too messed up to see the truth. Love how well this actor played both roles, as well as the powerhouse ending.

4) Rob - April Fools Day
- Good old Rob. Yes he's handsome, but his school adviser claims he's not serious enough for medical school. Really? Nevertheless he sticks around as his friends all start getting killed off to solve the mystery of who's doing this side by side with his feisty girlfriend Kim. Nothing beats his screams of horror when somebody shows up in a closet to show off some killer FX work. Legendary.

3) Kincaid/Joey - A Nightmare On Elm Street 3/4
- They were the last of the Elm Street children, as well as dream warriors. One had dream powers of super human strength, the other a very powerful voice. Together they fought Freddy side by side with Nancy from the original and won. What I loved about these characters were that they had a ton of heart, and were very likable. Joey as the cute horn dog, and Kincaid as the legend he is. "Fuck you! You sit down!" What makes these two even more awesome is that they returned for part 4. Nothing will ever top the classic line "Joey! Kincaid! Help meeeee!" As well as their beyond awesome deaths. Two of the best for sure. Really wish they had lasted longer in part 4.

2) Alex - Bad Dreams
- One of my favorite characters from this underrated slasher. Poor Alex just wants what's best for his patients, as well as trying to figure out just what in the Hell is going on? I adored that he never wanted to give up on them and risked it all for them. One of my favorite scenes has to be when he starts running over his boss over and over again while laughing. Classic.

1) Tommy Jarvis - Friday the 13th 4-6
- 3 legendary actors all played this iconic role of the first character to actually truly kill off Jason for one whole installment. It all started when he was just a child. A nerdy outcast who loved all the things we do. Horror, video games, dogs, and masks. Here he uses his head via Ginny from part 2 and seriously fucks with Jason's head in teaming up with his sister, and not leaving her side and defeating him. Props to whacking the shit out of that psycho. In part 5 he's more withdrawn but one HELL of a fighter and yet again doesn't leave his friends, still haunted by what happened all those years ago. In part 6 he makes the very stupid mistake by digging Jason up, only to have him return yet again. Still, he put up one hell of a fight and really did look awesome teaming up against Jason himself!

Let's see where Chip will be off to next in the up coming summer weeks...
