Assault On Precinct 13 soundtrack.

 Assault On Precinct 13 soundtrack.

One of my all time favorite directors hands down has to be John Carpenter. For decades he's written, directed, composed, and even acted in some of the best films of the 1970's, 80's, and 90's. With his wide range of talent, Carpenter has directed such gems as Vampires, The Ward, Village Of The Damned, In The Mouth Of Madness, Escape from New York and LA, Prince Of Darkness, They Live, Big Trouble In Little China, The Thing, The Fog, Halloween, and of course the ever so underatted Assault On Precinct 13. The story of ruthless gang members attacking a small police station in the heart of LA one summer night, causing a stand off between a small skeleton crew of police officers, some prisoners, and the blood thirsty gangs waiting outside. Known for it's shocking scenes of violence, it's anti-heroes, and most of all it's haunting beating soundtrack, I decided to post about how this music is by far one of my favorites ever composed by Carpenter.

Released now on Vinyl, it's a must for any collector. So next hot summer night, grab a vanilla twist, and crank up this killer soundtrack awaiting the next attack!
