Day 20 - House IV (1992)
PLOT - Roger Cobb (William Katt) is killed in a car accident. His family must
move into the house that has haunted him for several years. Soon the
family begins to experience scary and unexplained phenomena.
Well instead of doing a review for this movie, which I plan on doing maybe next month in honor of House 3 aka The Horror Show being released on blu-ray, I decided to pin point the one very strange scene in House IV that I'm sure a lot of people remember. In fact this might be the only thing about the movie you do remember...
The pizza scene.
Yep, that's right.
With a new house and family, the House series decided to throw out everything audiances learned about the original and started fresh again besides the character of Rodger, who doesn't last very long in the movie. (spoiler alert!) Anywho, midway thu the movie his wife and wheelchair bound daughter are about to settle down to a nice pizza when the first true example of the house being haunted happens. While the daughter is wheeling around getting ready to set the table, humming the very catchy tune the delivery guy was singing eariler, the wife opens the pizza box only to discover the pizza is alive!
Yep, that face underneath all that cheese is Friday the 13th and Hatchet actor Kane Hodder. I don't know about a lot of people, but this scene down right scared me to death when I first saw it. What's scarier than a pizza with a human face?! Trust me, you'll never look at Pizza Hut the same way again...
So here it is, in all it's glory...the pizza scene.
Nice information, valuable and excellent design, as share good stuff with good ideas and concepts, lots of great information and inspiration, both of which I need, Very good points you wrote here..Great stuff...I think you've made some truly interesting points.Keep up the good work.
