1988 - A very great year for horror indeed...

1988 - A very great year for horror indeed... was a magical year. Why? Well the main reason being that it was the year yours truly was born. Second, it was a fine year when the decade was coming to a close and despite what many people believed that horror was dying a slow death, it was in fact a rare time when some pretty amazing films from this category were being released. Some were awesome, some were...well just plain awful. Still it was a fun year were such titles as The Blob, Return Of The Living Dead II, Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers, and Killer Klowns From Outer Space. Here is my personal favorite list of some kick ass horror movies that were released this very magical year...

Bad Dreams

Child's Play

Friday The 13th Part VII: The New Blood

Fright Night II

Halloween 4: The Return Of Michael Myers

Hellbound: Hellraiser II

The Kiss

Maniac Cop

A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master

Night Of The Demons

Phantasm II
