Kick off to Sensational Summer! Top 10 made for TV movies to watch this summer!!!
To officially kick off our forth annual Sensational Summer today, we're celebrating over here at Staystillreviews in all sorts of way! First, yesterday we announced our winner of our start to summer giveaway, and due to all the positive feedback it inspired me to cook up an equally as awesome giveaway for the 4th of July! Stay tuned! We're also joining Chip, as he lounges poolside at his home. What better way to truly get into the summer mood than waking up early, pouring yourself an iced coffee, sipping it through a crazy straw, and watching some old school made for TV movies that all give off major vacation vibes? I'm sure Chip isn't the only one to do this. In fact, it's one of the best ways to cure a major hangover. Summer Girl
- A stressed out couple with two small children, and another on the way decide to spend the summer at a beach house and attempt to escape the everyday stress and worry of life in the city. With their marriage on the rocks, and no help in sight...they find salvation in a young teenager they hire to babysit the kids and live with them for the next few months. Originally when they hire her, she's slightly overweight, frumpy, and shy. A month later when they pick her up to head to the beach, the wife is stunned to see the transformation in this stunning young woman. It isn't long before the pregnant wife begins to suspect that this young woman is actually unstable, with a very dark past. That she's actually trying to steal her husband, and get rid of her children.
The Babysitter
- A family spending their summer on an island just off the coast, are going through a bit of a "rough patch" The wife is struggling with her drinking, the daughter is withdrawn and rarely leaves the house, and all the husband wants to do is work, and not be available for his family. It isn't until a beauitfuil, mysterious young woman magical appears and seems to be the answer to all of their prayers. But where did she come from? What does she want with them? Will she ever leave?
I Saw What You Did
- Two teenagers who are complete opposites end up being stuck together one night with one of their younger sisters. Bored, they decide to pass the time by playing a game. Here they open up the phonebook, pick a random number, and when the person on the other line picks up, they say two simple sentences. "I saw what you did...and I know who you are." At first it's a complete riot, until they call the wrong number. A handsome unstable young man who's just murdered his girlfriend.

- Based off the tragic divesting life Colleen Applegate, a sweet young girl who moves from the mid-West to California to become a model and movie star. It isn't long before she falls into a spiral of seedy companies, promising her cold hard cash for nude photographs. Thinking that it's a quick way to make a buck, she agrees, which devastates and shames her family. Soon, she begins to use drugs, and star in adult films in order to make ends meet. Quickly we witness what a cold industry can do to an innocent young girl.

- Detective Knight appears to have it all. He drives a vintage caddy, is handsome, works the night shift, is sexy, and mysterious. Only thing is...he's a 100 year old vampire. For decades he's lived different lives, and currently he's working for the LAPD hiding his secret as well as trying to solve the case where a killer is draining of the blood of the homeless. Is it a crazed psychopath? Or a rival from many years ago.
Don't Go To Sleep
- A family who just recently lost their oldest daughter in a tragic accident, decide to move into a new house to start over. It isn't long before strange mysterious accidents and noises begin to occur all around their youngest daughter who always felt she lived in her late sister's shadow. When the spirit of her sister begins to appear before her, she claims that she needs to "take" care of the rest of the family so they can be together forever.
Devil Dog From Hell
- A family from California are left devastated when their dog is accidentally hit by a car right before the daughter's birthday. Just a few days later, a mysterious truck driver is giving away puppies from a litter that was just born. Deciding they buy a puppy, the family is over the moon with the newest member of their family. A year later, the father slowly begins to see a change with his children and wife, as well as mysterious deaths that are happening all over the neighborhood...as always his dog is at the scenes of the crime.
Summer Of Fear
- A family takes in a distant cousin after her parents were killed in a terrible car accident at the beginning of the summer. Curious about this family member they never met, the teenage daughter thinks this might be the start of a great friendship...until strange events begin to happen. The beautiful cousin appears to have the power of putting everyone under a spell. Her boyfriend, family, and friends are all in love with her. Is it just the girl's stunning good looks, and personality? Or does this girl have a terrifying power?
