Black Christmas house today!

 Black Christmas house today!

Whenever somebody asks me what the scariest movie I've ever seen...the answer is simple.

The original Black Christmas.

Released in the early 70's by the late Bob Clark (yep, the same Bob Clark who later went on to direct A Christmas Story, a much lighter note with holiday themed movies.) This story tells of a sorority house is terrorized by a stranger who makes frightening phone calls and then murders the sorority sisters during Christmas break. This movie sadly was remade 2006 by the same Black Xmas (...) this stylized spin on the Christmas slasher sadly was a complete shit show, and besides how beautifully filmed it was, it took away everything that was scary about the original film and made it just plain stupid. Still, many horror fans still deeply respect the 70's original that will forever change sitting at your house alone at night forever. Oh and crystal unicorns.

My dream is to someday visit the iconic house that was used as the sorority house in the original film in Canada. Lucky enough looking it up on the web I was able to see what the house looks like today. I wonder if Billy still has Claire and Mrs. Mac up in the attic...

The house today.
