Remembering Mark Venturini

 Remembering Mark Venturini

"You think this is a fucking costume? This is a way of life!"

Iconic words spoken by a very memorable character in a very classic movie.

I wanted to take a second to remember actor Mark Venturine, better wise known as Suicide in Return Of The Living Dead and Victor in Friday the 13th part V a new beginning. Mark had a brief but very awesome career before he sadly passed away suddenly back in 1996.

It just dawned on me that this past winter marked what would have been actor Mark Venturini's 52nd birthday and the day he passed away which was in fact Valentine's Day. Being a huge fan of Return Of The Living Dead and Friday the 13th part V, Mark's death always bothered me since he was so young. I feel had he lived, there would have been many more roles this guy would have played and completely owned in.

Just last spring when I picked up More Brains, a documentary based off the Return Of The Living Dead fans, I would lie if I said I didn't tear up a bit when the cast and crew members spoke about what a shock Mark's death was to them.

I also picked up the very cheesy 90's thriller Mikey which Mark had a brief cameo in the beginning.

Mark was a handsome massive classic looking guy who is still missed by fans today. Taken far too soon, I believe had Mark lived a ton of people including myself would have loved the chance to have met him.

Rest In Peace Mark...you are missed!
